Role description

Position Details:

Our Lady's Assumption School is a double stream, co-educational Catholic primary school catering for children from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. We are seeking a passionate, contemporary educator who is committed to excellence in teaching and learning and who will positively contribute to our vibrant Catholic school community.

Selection Criteria:
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
•    A strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and the Australian Curriculum.
•    The ability to implement evidence-based, contemporary teaching practices that effectively respond to the diverse learning needs of students.
•    Expertise in analysing and using student achievement data to inform planning, differentiate instruction, and improve learning outcomes.
•    Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build positive and collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
•    A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child can flourish.
•    A willingness to facilitate extra-curricular activities
•    A child-focused and Christ-centred approach to education, actively supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
