Role description
Position Details:
St Anthony's School, Wanneroo, is a co-educational double stream Catholic school that caters for over 440 students and their families from 3-Year-old Kindergarten to Year 6. We are a community that strives to develop and encourage the Christian values modelled by Jesus and where growth of the whole person is enhanced through our educational program.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Social Worker who will work collaboratively with the Leadership Team, St Anthony's staff, students and members of the parent community.
Selection Criteria:
Applicants should provide examples of how they have demonstrated the following criteria in previous or current position within their application:
•Partnering with students, families and key staff to enhance student well-being. Demonstrates strong, respectful and effective communication with parents.
•Delivering a best practice approach to intervention, including individual and collective counselling methodologies.
•Adhering to CEWA and St Anthony’s policies and procedures in the delivery of student support services.
•Advocating for the well-being of students; prioritising a culture of child safety with the school and consistently applying the principles and practices of the CEWA Childsafe Framework.
•Working in collaboration with key stakeholders to develop and facilitate preventative programs; exploring, networking and enhancing relations with internal parties and external organisations to support the delivery of programs.
