Role description

Position Details:

St Thomas More Catholic Primary School is a single-stream regional school catering for about 220 students from Pre-Kindy to Year 6.
We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled and passionate Middle Primary Teacher who is vibrant, enthusiastic and motivated and loves working in a collaborative, fun and engaging environment. 
The position is a Temporary Full-Time position, with the possibility of being extended into the future.

Selection Criteria:
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
• A practising Catholic who has a commitment to contribute to the Catholicity of the school and its community
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated teaching team
• A good understanding of the WA Curriculum with the ability to organise, select and design data driven content and instruction demonstrating differentiated learning for all students
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills and hold high expectations about children's ability to learn
• An understanding of Explicit teaching and the use of High Impact Teaching Strategies
• A willingness to be fully involved in the life of the school and take on extra roles as required
• A positive, enthusiastic and dynamic demeanour
