1. Proven experience and sound knowledge of speech pathology techniques, including observation, assessment and intervention for students with, language, communication and literacy needs and the ability to provide specialist recommendations.
2. Exemplary skills and experience in the development and delivery of interventions within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) approach, in a school setting.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to connect with students, and collaborate effectively to range of professionals, teachers, families and as member of a team. 
4. High level organisational skills, including the capacity to prioritise workload.
5. A commitment to your own professional learning and growth, and experience in the delivery of high-quality professional learning to others.

Role Purpose

The Speech Pathologist will work collaboratively with students, teachers, education support staff, families and relevant professionals to support students with speech, language, communication and related literacy needs.

The role will operate within the college¿s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and contribute specialist expertise across universal, targeted and individual supports.

A key focus of the role will be supporting students to access learning, developing practical strategies for use within classrooms and building the confidence and capability of staff to respond effectively to communication and language needs.
