Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills and high-level interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with parents, students and colleagues.
• Demonstrated understanding of how students learn and effective teaching strategies, with the capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience working within the education system using the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework, with the capacity to monitor, analyse and assess student data to inform practice.

• Demonstrated experience working effectively with children of different ages and abilities, and from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

   

• Demonstrated experience in the development of pre-literacy and literacy skills.

   

   

Role

Two days per week required, with days negotiable.

Range 4 is distinguished by broader management responsibility, particularly in the areas of finance, human resource and other support functions.  Range 4 is responsible for managing a range of functions under a wide range of conditions, subject to the size and complexity of school operations.
