Role description


This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027

Dongara District High School (DHS) is a proud Independent Public School in the Mid-West Education Region.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed educator who is committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every student, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching, and instructional strategies.. The ideal applicant will have a strong understanding of PBS practices and Classroom Management Strategies (CMS).

High-level interpersonal skills are highly desirable, as the role involves working collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Familiarity with contemporary pedagogy and the use of HITS would also be beneficial in delivering effective, student-centred learning programs that meet a diverse range of needs.
