Role description
Far North Queensland Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division
Teacher Aide at Cooktown State School supports teachers and students by preparing learning materials, assisting with classroom and education activities, and providing literacy,
numeracy and individual student support.
The role also contributes to student wellbeing, health and safety, supervision and school administration, requiring reliability,
teamwork, confidentiality and the ability to support students with diverse and high-level needs. This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.71FTE), 54 hours
per fortnight.
