Are you an organised, adaptable, and personable administrator looking for flexible casual work in the Illawarra region?
We are seeking energetic and reliable administrative staff to support our secondary schools across the Illawarra region as a Casual School Support Officer (SSO) – Administration.
Whether your expertise lies in front-office customer service, maintaining student records, managing school correspondence, or providing administrative assistance to school leadership, this casual role offers the opportunity to keep our school offices running smoothly while building great connections across our school network.
Note: Obtaining casual approval makes you eligible to work as a Casual SSO across Catholic schools within the Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW), though it does not guarantee continuous employment.
Essential Application Requirements

Eligibility Criteria (Must meet at least one):
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification (please contact Recruitment to confirm eligibility), OR
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar office or administrative support role
Child Safety Clearance: A current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance for paid employment (strictly required prior to commencement).
Proof of Identity: Valid government-issued photo ID documents.
Professional References: Satisfactory referee checks from recent professional supervisors.
