Role description
The National Director of Marist Schools Australia, Dr John Kyle-Robinson, invites suitably qualified and experienced Catholic educators to apply for the position of Principal at Lavalla Catholic College, Traralgon.
Lavalla Catholic College is governed by Marist Schools Australia and educates approximately 1,400 young women and men across years 7 to 12. Situated on two campuses, the College enjoys a positive reputation in the Diocese of Sale. It is a welcoming and inclusive community with a lived commitment to the spiritual formation and personalised educational development of each student.
The Principal is the steward of Catholic identity and Marist spirituality, providing visionary leadership across faith, learning, wellbeing, community and strategy.
The successful applicant will be an experienced, energetic, and inspirational Catholic leader with a proven capacity to lead the extensive College community in making Jesus known and loved through quality education in the Marist tradition. A record of authentic school leadership, in establishing processes to drive continuous improvement in learning and teaching is essential.
