The Role
We are currently seeking Casual Early Childhood Educator who, under the direction of the Centre leaders, will assist in implementing a out of school hours care program catering to the individual needs of each child within a group setting.
Early Childhood Educators play a crucial role at the College, with each day offering a variety-filled and dynamic experience.
Primary duties include supervising and interacting with the children, setting up activities, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all at our Centre.
We have varied casual hours available to support our centre as required, including mornings, afternoons, and vacations.
This role is well suited to university students studying Early Childhood Education or a related field, offering the flexibility of casual hours to work alongside your studies.
You will hold:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent); or
- Currently be studying Early Childhood related qual;
- Current Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting certificate or ability to obtain;
- Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management Training or ability to obtain;
- Valid Blue Card or the ability to successfully obtain;
- Accredited Child Protection Training.
