Role description

This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027

Recognised as a high-quality educational campus and one of the first Independent Public Schools (IPS) in WA, students at Mindarie Senior College (SC) are strongly engaged in all facets of their learning. The highly motivated and knowledgeable staff are enthusiastic about teaching and are engaged in classroom observation and conferencing. The College’s focus is on preparing students for their next step in life, their future aspirations.

The staff embrace contemporary and effective teaching strategies to ensure all students have the opportunity to achieve the best possible outcomes. It has sweeping ocean views and is located 39 km north of the city of Perth in the northern coastal corridor. The College promotes a ‘Young Adult Ethos’ environment that encourages students to take ownership of their own learning.

We provide a comprehensive education with pathways leading to attainment of an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications or future employment. Our broad curriculum ensures students can pursue their passions, which will engage and motivate them to be productive, independent learners. Mindarie Senior College works in partnership with Real Schools to embed restorative practices, fostering strong, respectful relationships that underpin a positive and inclusive learning culture for both staff and students.

Our purpose-built college was built in 2003, and is in the costal suburb of Mindarie, 39km north of the city of Perth in the northern coastal corridor.
