Dareton Public School is a Connected Communities school located in the Sunraysia region of the Far West Network in regional NSW, situated on the traditional homelands of the Barkindji people. With 53 students, 98% of whom identify as Aboriginal, the school has built strong collaborative partnerships with its parents and community. The school delivers weekly language and culture lessons through the NSW AECG, and seven of its 18 staff members identify as Aboriginal. The school is supported by a strong team of support staff working alongside teachers to improve educational outcomes and opportunities for students and their families.

Position Information
The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
