MAINTENANCE / GROUNDSPERSON
Position Type: Part-time temporary
Hours / FTE: 56 hours per fortnight
Commencement date: 12 October 2026
Term of Appointment: 27 January 2027

Classification & Benefits:
This role is classified as Level (insert level) (averaged / unaveraged) under the NSW and ACT Systemic Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2025 as updated or reviewed. Detailed information regarding the level, salary increments, and general employment conditions can be found within the Agreement.
Applicants must:
- hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team
- Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials
- Proven ability as an effective team member
- Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour.
- Awareness of the need for security in relation to rooms and buildings, personal property and equipment.
- Basic Computer skills.
