Role description

Glenelg Primary School is looking for a Special Education teacher to commence as soon as possible, working 1:3 with level 8 and 9 students, ASD3 and comorbid conditions 2x non-verbal

Experience working with the EYLF and Ables curriculum approach would be beneficial.
As the children are non-verbal and developing language, clear, articulate English is required for clarity in the early development of phonemic awareness.
The students have full-time SSO involvement, including supervision at play time.

The teacher is responsible for working directly with the students, planning and programming, plus parent communication and reporting. The teacher would be aiming for short bursts of integration into mainstream classes as appropriate

The 3 days are negotiable, or could be delivered as part days.
