Location Profile

Thornhill Park Primary School was established in 2023 and is located in the suburb of Thornhill Park approximately 40 kilometres west of Melbourne. Our school currently has capacity for 1200 students and caters for students from Years Prep to 6. Our enrolments are currently around 840, with a growth of up to 950 students expected by January 2027. The grounds sit alongside a new creek installation in the Thornhill Park Estate and is surrounded by many new houses, bike paths and open park spaces. The school community is culturally diverse with many families coming from a language background other than English.  We provide a strong culture of inclusion and have established a supportive environment for all students.

We are looking for enthusiastic experienced and graduate teachers to join our wonderful staff and contribute to providing the best possible experiences for our children. We provide support to teachers in the form of assistance with preparing weekly resources for your class and we plan collaboratively with the assistance of Curriculum Leaders. Our Graduates are supported through a dedicated Graduate check-in and mentor program, with all Grads participating in the Career Start program. Our Leadership Team is highly visible and responsive and there are opportunities for all teachers to grow as leaders and highly skilled practitioners through effective Professional Learning throughout the year.
