Oatlands Primary School serves the residential area of the Oatlands and surrounding estates in Narre Warren which is in the south east growth corridor of Melbourne.
The current enrolment is 964 students at Oatlands Primary School.
Oatlands Primary School's philosophy is based on the belief that all students can learn and that learning best occurs in a happy and positive school environment.
Oatlands Primary Schooldesigns its policies and programs to foster:
a safe, caring learning environment a stimulating environment that is student centred and activity-based tolerance and assist students to relate positively to other's personal academic achievement.
The development of all our students is viewed as a shared responsibility between home and school. Parents are encouraged to assist their children's learning and to participate in school activities. This is achieved through effective communication, parent/teacher meetings, interviews, assistance in learning programs, public forums and information evenings, excursions, and participation in PFA, School Council and its Sub Committees.
