Role description
Location Profile
Clayton North Primary School was officially opened in 1865. It started out with some passionate community members who wanted a great education for their children in a pristine environment. Nothing has changed. In 160 years, our determination to ensure every child has access to a vibrant, interesting, and expansive education has only grown stronger. We are proud to celebrate our diversity and our unity. With languages and experiences from all around the world, the one thing that draws us together is education that excites us.
Our vision is to create an inclusive community where individuals can confidently learn through challenge and support, to positively impact their future. The values of respect, responsibility and resilience underpin all that we do at Clayton North Primary School
Clayton North Primary School provides a comprehensive curriculum which is based on the Victorian Curriculum. We focus on teaching individual students on improving their skills in all areas of the curriculum. SWPBS is the framework that underpins all school programs and is consistently implemented by all staff. The school community encourages high standards of behaviour and actively promotes harmonious student relationships. All our classrooms are large and well equipped. Specialist programs include Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, English as an Additional Language and Japanese. In addition, a camp program, and inter school sport are provided for middle and senior students.
