About the Role

The Canteen Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the school canteen by preparing and serving nutritious food, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety, and ensuring a clean and efficient work environment. The role also involves assisting with stock control, ordering supplies, and supervising staff or volunteers when required. In addition, the position promotes the wellbeing and safety of students by complying with child safety, workplace health and safety, and departmental policies and procedures.
