The Team
Our Community Youth Justice teams work with young people to reduce offending through restorative, rehabilitative, and community-based programs. The team work together with the community, other service delivery agencies and the young people themselves. They encourage offenders to take responsibility for their offences, and where possible, divert them from the criminal justice system.
About the Role

As a Youth Justice Worker, you will work within a restorative justice framework to assess the risks, needs and circumstances of young people referred by police and the courts. You will deliver youth diversion initiatives, develop and implement case management plans, and manage a caseload of young people subject to legal orders. Working in accordance with the Youth Justice Act 1997, you will support rehabilitation, reduce reoffending, and help young people achieve positive outcomes.
