Position details:
Our Lady of Good Counsel School, located in Karrinyup, is a single stream Catholic primary school comprised of students from Pre-Kindergarten through to Year 6. Our school values of Love, Respect, Excellence and Justice are at the core of our community. Staff create a welcoming environment where all children and families are respected and actively encouraged to contribute. The school has a strong, inclusive parent community.
We are seeking a suitably qualified Education Assistant (Early Childhood).

Selection Criteria:
- Experience in working with young children in Kindergarten, Pre-Primary, or an early childhood setting.
- Demonstrated ability to support the educational, social ,emotional and behavioural development of young children within a learning environment.
- A commitment to promoting the safety, wellbeing and dignity of all children and contribute positively to the school community.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and families while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to follow teacher direction, manage assigned tasks effectively, and show initiative when supporting student learning and classroom routines.
- Applicants must be willing to support the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education and be prepared to involve themselves in the extra-curricular life of the school.
- Have or be willing to attain the appropriate accreditation to work in a Catholic School
