Position Details:
Assumption Catholic Primary School is double stream co-educational school from Pre Kindy to Year 6. A sense of pride and joy abounds in our flourishing learning community, where the whole community aspires daily to our school motto "United in Christ".
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Performing Arts teacher to join our school for the 2027. This is an opportunity to join a school where the focus is on implementing evidence based teaching practices to ensure every student reaches their very finest potential in all aspects of their development.
Selection Criteria:
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Western Australian and Australian Performing Arts Curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experiences across a broad range of artistic disciplines and creative media;
• Demonstrate excellence in teaching and classroom management as a dynamic, innovative and reflective practitioner;
• An understanding of and the ability to differentiate the teaching and learning program to cater for student needs;
• Ability to continuously analyse and use data to inform teaching and learning practices to raise student achievement;
• Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students and parents;
• Be a positive, professional and enthusiastic teacher who demonstrates initiative, a growth mindset and a desire to continue to improve;
