This is a full-time contract position commencing Term 1, 2027. Under the direction of the Principal and in collaboration with classroom teachers the Teacher (Inclusive Education) will provide intervention support to students, especially those with specific learning needs. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education and enable equitable access, participation and achievement for diverse learners through expert support, collaboration and high-impact teaching. They will apply strong knowledge of legislation, including the Disability Standards for Education (2005) and NCCD, and evidence-based practice to support student outcomes and effective case management. The successful applicant will have well developed organisational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work well in a team, as well as the ability to work autonomously. Key responsibilities include:Provide expert advice on differentiation and adjustments. Working in collaboration with parents, teachers and students to ensure Personal Learning Plans are developed and communicated.Organise and timetable visiting paraprofessionals.Coordinate or contribute to case management processes with parents, teachers and external agencies and ensure timely and accurate NCCD documentation.Build staff capacity through coaching and collaborate with leaders to embed inclusive curriculum and accessible assessment design.
