About our school 
St Martin’s School with an enrolment of over 620 students is the only Catholic Primary School in Queensland founded in the 800-year Dominican tradition which centres on four pillars: prayer, learning, service and community. At St Martin’s School we believe that a consistent approach to learning and teaching is essential to create a unified learning community. We have implemented a synthetic phonics approach to the teaching of reading, writing, and spelling which is lifting our literacy data.
