Role description

Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview was established in 1880 as a Catholic boys’ school in the Jesuit tradition. Located in Lane Cove, Sydney, Cammeraigal Country, this leading independent school delivers a holistic education to both day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12.

The College is seeking an engaging and safety-oriented Mountain Biking (MTB) Coaches to lead students in MTB program. This casual coaching opportunity is ideal for passionate coaches who are committed to guiding student athletes through structured skills progression, fitness conditioning and trail etiquette preparing them for inter-school races.

Reporting to the Program Coordinator – Mountain Biking (MTB), the MTB Coach will create a positive, safe environment that enables students to develop their skills, character, teamwork and love of the sport.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will:

  • Proven experience coaching MTB at a school, club, state or equivalent level. 
  • Strong technical and tactical MTB coaching knowledge. 
  • Hold an AusCycling Coach registration or PMBIA level 1 qualification, or be willing to obtain this qualification
