Role description
Position details:

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Secondary Science Teacher to teach general science and teach Chemistry and/or Physics to secondary students commencing in 2027.
The successful applicant will be committed to maximising the engagement and progress of all students within a culture of excellence and faith.
Selection Criteria:
• A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
• Ability to teach Science and Chemistry/ Physics to secondary students.
• Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Mercy Education Limited.
• Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with their peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student learning through effective teaching and differentiated learning.
• Excellent planning and use of digital technologies, thinking skills and pedagogies that engage students.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment.
• Demonstrated skills in establishing effective collaborative working relationships with staff, students and parents.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
