Teacher (Upper Primary)

Position Details:

St Joseph's College is a growing Catholic school catering for students from Three-Year-Old to Year Twelve. The College is located in Albany approximately 410km south of Perth.  

Selection Criteria:
The successful applicant must: 
* Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the College.
* Have a knowledge of current curriculum developments (Primary) including Religious Education (Catholic)
* Have excellent planning skills and the ability to create programs that cater for individual differences.
* Have the ability to analyse and use data to inform teaching and learning practices in order to raise   
 student levels of achievement.
* Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills so as to engage positively with    
 colleagues, students and parents.
* Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe    
 environment.
* Have an excellent understanding of a variety of assessment and reporting strategies and the need to   
 provide effective and timely feedback to parents and students.
* Have the capacity to be a pro-active member of a professional learning community complying with   
 legal, administrative and professional requirements.
* Demonstrate an ability to integrate technology effectively into the daily classroom environment.
* A preparedness to be fully involved in school activities.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
