Role description

Position Details:

Secondary Teachers are integral members of a dynamic and committed team focused on fostering the academic and personal growth of students in their care. Teachers must possess a deep understanding of their subject area and demonstrate effective teaching methodologies aligned with current curriculum standards. Teachers are responsible for creating a supportive and challenging educational environment that nurtures student engagement and achievement throughout the academic year.

Selection Criteria:
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong understanding of Secondary curriculum requirements (Year 7 to Year 12) and contemporary pedagogical practice. They will be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive, and high-quality learning experiences that support student growth, wellbeing, and faith development. The role requires a teacher who can work collaboratively within a professional learning community and contribute positively to the broader life of the College. In addition, the successful candidate will be supportive of the Marist and Catholic ethos and demonstrate commitment to our ongoing child safeguarding principles.
