Casual School Support Officer - Maintenance and Outdoor

We are seeking energetic and reliable grounds and facilities maintenance staff to support our school communities within the Macarthur/South Western Sydney region on a casual basis as a Casual School Support Officer (SSO) – Maintenance & Outdoor.

Whether your expertise lies in general groundskeeping, lawn care, minor facility repairs, equipment operation, or routine grounds upkeep, this casual role offers the opportunity to keep our learning environments safe, vibrant, and well-maintained while building great connections across our school network.

 Note: Obtaining casual approval makes you eligible to work as a Casual SSO (Maintenance & Outdoor) across Catholic schools within the Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW), though it does not guarantee continuous employment.

 Essential Application Requirements

· Relevant Experience/Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in building maintenance, landscaping, groundskeeping, or a relevant trade background.

· Child Safety Clearance: A current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance for paid employment.

· Proof of Identity: Valid government-issued photo ID documents.

· Professional References: Satisfactory referee checks from recent professional supervisors.

· Employment Declaration: Satisfactory completion of the official CEDoW Employment Declaration form.
