Role description


This is a permanent full-time position commencing ASAP

The Standards and Integrity Directorate, within the Professional Standards and Conduct Division, strengthens the Department's integrity framework and promotes a culture of integrity, accountability and ethical decision-making through:

  • the effective assessment and investigation of complaints of staff misconduct in accordance with the Complaints and Notifications Policy
  • the prevention of integrity risks, including serious misconduct, fraud and corruption, through learning and development, data-driven insights, proactive risk identification and effective integrity systems management
  • the strengthening of child safeguarding systems through the Reportable Conduct Scheme, Working with Children Check compliance, management of child safety risks, system-level reviews and strategic projects.

The Role

As a Support Officer Reportable Conduct, you will play an important role in the Child Safeguarding Systems function within the Integrity Systems and Education team, supporting the Department's implementation of the WA Reportable Conduct Scheme. Through project and administrative support, information management, stakeholder and operational coordination, you will contribute to initiatives that strengthen child safeguarding, promote child-safe practices, improve organisational understanding of the Scheme and support positive outcomes for children and young people.
