Education Assistant - Special Needs

We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant - Special Needs for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Ashburton Drive Primary School (PS) motto is 'Dream, Believe, Achieve' and the school song is, 'You Can Do It'. A friendly, positive school tone with a strong emphasis on teaching and encouraging students who uphold the school values is driven by The Western Australian Positive Behaviour Support (WA PBS) program. The Role

Suitable applicants will ideally possess highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with teachers, students, families, and support staff to create and maintain a supportive and inclusive education program that meets the diverse needs of students.

Applicants with extensive experience and knowledge in supporting students with a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, diabetes, anxiety, and trauma, are encouraged to apply.
