Education Assistant - Mainstream

We are seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

At Banksia Grove Primary School (PS) we show a commitment to supporting all students at all stages of their development. Our students learn best in a safe and predictable environment. Based around best practice models and research, we have developed and refined developmentally appropriate whole school approaches across social emotional learning, behaviour support and curriculum delivery. Consistent language and approaches across the school allow our students to maximise their learning.

Partnership between family and school is important to the optimal growth and development of young students.

We believe in the integration of learning through play, as students learn best by doing. We strive for a balance between teacher-directed playful learning, and child-initiated activities, providing the foundation of a developmentally appropriate early childhood program.
