Role description
This is a permanent part-time (0.38FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2026
Newborough Primary School (PS) became an Independent Public School in 2012. The school has had a proud history since it was founded in 1955. Since then, extensive renovations and extensions have created a pleasant educational facility. This includes a purpose-built library, an undercover area that is fully enclosed and excellent early childhood facilities. The Role
As a cleaner, the successful applicant will ideally be responsible for internal cleaning of classrooms and other school buildings, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition, you should also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs and other general cleaning duties. During vacation times, you should also undertake the stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas.
