Role description
The Primary Learning Support Teacher (permanent-full time or part time) plays a critical role in supporting the Learning Support team and liaising with the primary school teachers to best suit individualised student learning needs, engagement, and wellbeing. This role requirement is for Term 4, 2026.
The successful applicant should:
● Be a committed Christian who is actively involved in their church
● Have a genuine love of children and be committed to their growth in learning
● Contribute to the life of the College community and be part of a God-honouring collaborative staff team
Details of the role:
● Act as the Primary teacher liaison, under the guidance of Head of Student Learning and Support to provide individualised interventions for students.
● Guide Primary teachers and provide support in developing curriculum for the learning interventions, managing behaviour of students with disability or special needs.
● Guide Primary Student Learning and Support Aides in documentation related to student learning progress and outcomes.
● Ensure compliance with school policies and child safety regulations.
