Role description

Our Lady of Mercy College is seeking an experienced and passionate Science Teacher to join our College on a full-time, three-term contract commencing Term 1, 2027.

The opportunity

This full-time, three-term contract from Term 1 to Term 3, 2027 is ideal for an educator with experience in Stages 4–5 Science who is eager to inspire curiosity, deliver engaging, syllabus-aligned lessons, and provide constructive feedback that supports student reflection and growth. Central to this teaching role is a commitment to nurturing the gifts, talents, and aspirations of every student. The successful applicant will embrace and promote the Catholic identity of the College, ensuring that Catholic values and the Mercy tradition are reflected in all aspects of school life, learning, and leadership.

What are we looking for?

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and approval with current NESA accreditation to teach courses in NSW.
  • Experience teaching Stages 4 – 5 Science.
