Illawarra Christian School is seeking experienced and relational Christian educators to join its Primary Leadership Team to one of the following Primary School leadership positions commencing in 2027:
- Primary Coordinator of Pastoral Care
- Primary Coordinator of Teaching and Learning
As members of the Primary Leadership Team, these positions work closely with the Director of Primary and other key leaders to support student flourishing, staff development and the continued growth of the Primary School. Both positions attract a Position of Responsibility Level 2 allowance and include a reduced teaching load.
About the Roles
Primary Coordinator of Pastoral Care
The Primary Coordinator of Pastoral Care provides leadership in student wellbeing, behaviour support, pastoral care and community across K-6. The role partners with teachers, families and specialist staff to foster a culture where every student is known, valued and supported within a Christ-centred learning environment. The Coordinator provides guidance and support to staff in student wellbeing matters and contributes to the development of positive school culture, strong relationships and student flourishing.
