ABOUT THE ROLE

Redfield College currently has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Head of History/ Secondary Teacher, commencing in Term 1, 2027. This is a permanent full-time position, with a 3-year leadership appointment as Head of History.

Specifically, you will provide teaching and learning experiences for students, that are based on a sound understanding of pedagogy and content knowledge that:

Differentiate the curriculum for individual needs
Utilise a variety of technologies to underpin sound pedagogical practices
Utilise authentic assessment
Embed sound learning theory
Meet the aims, objectives, and outcomes of the NESA curriculum

In addition to contributing to co-curricular activities, you will also be responsible for attending staff development days, Key Parent Functions, and professional development sessions that may take place after school throughout the year.
