Role description

Established in 1879, St Aloysius' College is a Catholic, Jesuit day school for boys from Year 3 to Year 12. Situated in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it has an enrolment of over 1300 students.

About the Role

Senior School Science Teacher – (Term IV 2026, LSL Cover)

St Aloysius’ College is seeking a dynamic and innovative Science Teacher to join our Milsons Point campus, with a focus on teaching Junior Science across Years 7–10. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who is passionate about Science and committed to creating engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, inquiry and a deeper understanding of the world around us.

 The successful candidate will bring creativity, enthusiasm and academic rigour to the classroom, using contemporary teaching practices to engage students and support a range of learning needs and abilities.

 They will be an effective classroom practitioner committed to high-quality teaching and learning, and to fostering students’ academic, personal and pastoral development.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of innovative programs and play an active role in the broader life of the College.

 This role provides an opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and collaborative Science faculty. The position is offered part-time (0.8 FTE) on a fixed-term basis for Term IV 2026 and reports to the Head of Science.
