Role description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Mathematics teacher to join our Middle and Senior Years. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through engaging and challenging mathematical learning experiences while contributing to the broader life of the College.
This permanent role is offered as 1.0 FTE, commencing Term 1 2027. The key responsibilities are to:
- Deliver engaging Mathematics programs across Years 7-12.
- Design learning experiences that promote critical thinking, problem-solving and application of knowledge.
- Differentiate teaching to support students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum resources and learning programs.
- Use assessment data to inform teaching practice and enhance student achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, camps, excursions and College events.
About you:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience teaching Mathematics across secondary year levels.
- Experience teaching Stage 2 Mathematics (highly desirable).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for student learning.
- Excellent organisational and classroom management skills.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to team initiatives.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- A commitment to ongoing professional growth and innovation in teaching.
