Role description

Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is 1,100 students. Mathematics Teacher 

Full-time ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2027 

A highly skilled, collaborative and motivated teacher is sought to teach Mathematics to Stages 4, 5 and 6 in a positive and successful department which is committed to delivering excellent outcomes for students, curriculum innovation and development. Experience and ability in teaching a variety of senior courses is highly desirable but not essential.  

The successful applicant will be qualified and committed. A demonstrated capacity to embrace the college’s Learning Framework and a collegial & collaborative approach as a member of a successful department is essential.  

The College operates a Boarding and Extended day program for all students. As such, further opportunities beyond a teaching role may be available.    

All applicants for the above position must be supportive of the Catholic ethos and tradition of the College and be prepared to participate in the co-curricular area (which may not include any weekend responsibilities).
