About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and suitably qualified Special Needs Education Assistant to join our dedicated team at the Meadow Springs Primary campus. A Certificate IV in Education Support is preferred.

This is a fixed-term, full-time position for the 2027 school year.

Special Needs Education Assistant

Special Needs Assistants carry out duties as directed by the Head of Primary and work under the guidance of the Learning Enrichment Coordinator and/or classroom teacher as designated by the Head of Primary.

Special Needs Assistants need to meet the special needs of the student(s) in his/her care and to assist in the delivery of relevant educational programmes.

Special Needs Assistants are required to, under the guidance of the classroom teacher:

• Develop resources, visual schedules etc to assist the student/ students in supporting their learning.
