Role description

Position Details:
Lumen Christi College is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic leader to join our College as Head of Year. As a Middle Leader, you will embrace our College Vision for Learning, Discover Together, which challenges us to inspire excellence within a welcoming community. Leaders are encouraged to work collaboratively, focusing on providing learning environments which are engaging and challenging, so students can develop a strong desire to achieve their personal best and be prepared for lifelong learning, guided by the Light of Christ.

Position Description: 
This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing 1 January 2027.

Selection Criteria:
The successful applicant will have:
• Have a 4-year teaching qualification
• Support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties as a member of the Lumen Christi College community
• Possess, or be willing to obtain, Accreditation for Middle Leaders in a Catholic School
• Have a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement to support the College’s mission and goals
• Be involved in the full life of the College, including participation in the extra-curricular program
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:
The successful applicant will have:
• Have experience in a similar role.
