Role description

Position Details:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Education Assistant to join our school community in a part-time, ongoing position commencing 1 January 2027. This is a 0.6 FTE position, with the working days to be determined.
St Brigid's Primary School is a vibrant double-stream Catholic primary school serving approximately 470 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. We are committed to fostering the academic, social and spiritual growth of every child through a collaborative, child-centred approach to learning and wellbeing.
Our staff staff work together to deliver high-quality, evidence-based instruction, supported by programmes including Talk for Writing, InitiaLit, MiniLit, MacqLit and Spelling Mastery. Students participate in specialist learning programs in Auslan, Science, Physical Education, Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), and Music from Pre-Primary to Year 6. Our Jean Ellison Centre provides specialised support for students with additional needs, ensuring personalised learning opportunities and promoting successful participation in all aspects of school life.
