Position Details
Infant Jesus School, Morley is a double stream co-educational primary school catering for over 500 children from Pre-Kindy to Year 6. The school has a strong sense of community with an emphasis on pastoral care and acceptance of all cultural and social backgrounds and needs. The school enjoys a close relationship with the parish and strong support from the parent community.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Officer to join our professional administration team. The person we are looking for will be a diligent and dedicated professional driven to improve processes and ensure compliance.
This is a fixed term maternity leave replacement from 1/1/2027 – 24/9/2027.
Selection Criteria:
• Commitment to the values of Infant Jesus School and the mission of Catholic Education.
• Extensive experience in bookkeeping, financial administration, and financial reporting.
• Experience in financial procedures including accounts receivable, accounts payable, preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS), and general ledger processing.
• Sound knowledge and demonstrated application of accrual accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Advanced computer skills, including experience with financial management systems, Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), and web-based applications.
