Position: Secondary Teacher (Mathematics/Science/Humanities), St Patrick's College
Start date: Term 4, 2026 (6th October 2026)
Employment Status: Full-Time
Salary:
$86,600 - $147,048 (pending experience - includes Highly Accomplished (HAT) and Lead Teacher (LT) salary scale)

What we are looking for:

Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of St Patrick's College, Mackay. This is a full-time position to commence Term 4, 2026.

We welcome applications from registered teachers who can teach in any or a combination of the below subjects:

  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Humanities

The successful applicant requires excellent people skills, a capacity to work as a part of a team, and the willingness to support students, staff and parents of the school.
