Role description


We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Albany Primary School (PS) has a strong culture of classroom observation, coaching and collaborative teams to achieve high standards in both individual and whole school performances. Suitable applicants will ideally display commitment to these practices, ongoing professional development, and the school Business Plan.

The learning environment created should be engaging, challenging, caring, and catering for a range of needs to ensure all students make progress. Effective behaviour management strategies are used to establish and maintain an organised, orderly and learning-focused classroom.
