Position Information

Lake Cathie Public School, located on Birpai Country, was established in 2014 and welcomed its first 81 students in 2015. Since then, it has built a strong, positive reputation in the local and wider community. In 2026, enrolments total 381 students, with 11% Aboriginal and 3% EAL/D students among our total enrolment.Three supported learning classes contribute to a strong sense of inclusion for all students. A strong collegial partnership exists with Hastings Valley Public Schools (HVPS), fostering collaboration and mutual support.

Between 2020 and 2021, a major capital works program added seventeen innovative learning spaces, enhancing the environment and supporting modern teaching.
