Position Information
Junee High School is a rural comprehensive secondary school that draws students from the township and surrounding farms and villages. Junee is a historic country town located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, positioned approximately 40 kilometres north-east of Wagga Wagga and 470 kilometres south-west of Sydney. The town has an urban population of just over 5,000 residents, with around 6,500 people living across the shire.
The school enjoys high levels of community support from local businesses and farms. Current enrolments are 227 students, including 38 Aboriginal students and 19 students from Non-English-Speaking backgrounds.
The school employs a total of 54 people, comprising 30 teaching and 24 support and administrative staff.
