Role description

Rostrevor College is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Co-curricular Coordinator - Senior School to support the planning, coordination and delivery of an extensive range of sporting co-curricular opportunities for students from Years 7 to 12.

Co-curricular Coordinator - Senior School

  • Permanent (0.88 FTE)
  • ESO Administration - Grade 4
  • 37.5 hours per week, 42 weeks per year 

Reporting to the Head of Co-curricular, this key role forsters student participation, strengthens communication with families and stakeholders, supports coaches and volunteers, and ensures the successful delivery of Senior School co-curricular programs and events from Years 7 to 12.

The successful incumbent will be passionate about supporting young people through high-quality co-curricular experiences, and will be eager to contribute to our dynamic Catholic college community.

Before/After School & Saturday Work  

During sport seasons, this role will be required to coordinate trainings, games and matches before and after the school day, as well as on Saturdays, throughout school terms. Saturday venue coordination takes place for activities hosted by Rostrevor on approximately 27 weekends each school year. Renumeration for out-of-hours and Saturday work undertaken is honoured in alignment with the CESA Enterprise Agreement. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Senior School co-curricular activities and events.
  • Manage communications with students, parents, staff and external organisations.
  • Coordinate student nominations, registrations, team allocations and participation requirements.
