Role description
Position Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging maths teacher who can teach years 7 – 10 Mathematics to join our team commencing at the beginning of 2027. The ability to teach years 11 & 12 Mathematics is desirable.
The successful applicant will have the ability to teach maths as outlined and be committed to maximising the engagement and progress of all students within a culture of excellence and the Catholic faith.
Selection Criteria:
• Ability to teach Maths to Year 7 – 10 students.
• Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Mercy Education Limited.
• Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with their peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student learning through effective teaching and differentiated learning.
• Excellent planning and use of digital technologies, thinking skills and pedagogies that engage students in a modern learning environment.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment.
• Demonstrated skills in establishing effective collaborative working relationships with staff, students and parents.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
