Role description
A temporary full time position commencing as soon as possible until 27 January 2027. For existing employees of Catholic Education, Diocese of Wollongong this is a secondment opportunity.
The Acting Senior School Support Officer (SSSO) is a senior role in the area of administration within the school. The role exists to support the Principal and school community in achieving the vision and mission of the school, ensuring growth in faith and improvement in learning for all students. Thus, the role of SSSO requires a clear commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
Essential Selection Criteria
The preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:
- A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- Ability to provide administrative support to the principal and the school.
- Ability to effectively manage the administrative systems and everyday processes within the school.
- Experience in accounting processes, data systems and financial management procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain the administration of system accountabilities and legislative requirements.
